Phelps phinale...

We were vacationing at the Grand Coulee (future entries on this topic to follow) dam on Saturday but managed to catch the closing events of what has turned out to be swimming Olympics of the century!

Gold 4 x 100 Medley

The men pulled it out again.  Phelps butterfly and Lezak's freestyle closing leg were simply amazing.

Torres

Silver 50 Freestyle (dive and dash).

It wasn't the gold that most were hoping, but it's still an amazing Silver.  At 41, and after 4 (or is it 5) Olympics and 100 Relay medals she has earned and individual medal.  If any one is looking for an inspiration, here you go!
